Piercing Aftercare Instructions
First, wash your hands with antibacterial soap thoroughly prior to cleaning or touching your piercing for any reason.
Facial, Ear & Belly Piercings: Using antibacterial soap, gently lather around the piercing. As you rinse the piercing gently move up and down or side-to-side to remove any dry scabbing as needed. Avoid using harsh soaps, soaps with dyes or, soaps fragrance. Next, lightly spray your piercing with the Piercing Aftercare Spray. Gently move your piercing so that the Aftercare can penetrate inside. With a clean dry paper towel, dry the area around a piercing. Clean you're piercing a minimum of twice a day. Oral Piercings: Use Antimicrobial or Antibacterial Alcohol-Free mouth rinse each morning, after each meal and night. Avoid eating anything hard for a minimum of two hours after piercing. Nipple Piercings: Using antibacterial soap, gently lather around the piercing. As you rinse the piercing gently move up and down or side-to-side to remove any dry scabbing as needed. Avoid using harsh soaps, soaps with dyes or, soaps fragrance. Next, lightly spray your piercing with the Piercing Aftercare Spray. Gently move your piercing so that the Aftercare can penetrate inside. With a clean dry paper towel, dry the area around a piercing. Clean you're piercing a minimum of twice a day. Genital Piercings: Using antibacterial soap, gently lather around the piercing. As you rinse the piercing gently move up and down or side-to-side to remove any dry scabbing as needed. Avoid using harsh soaps, soaps with dyes or, soaps fragrance. Next, lightly spray your piercing with the Piercing Aftercare Spray. Gently move your piercing so that the Aftercare can penetrate inside. With a clean dry paper towel, dry the area around a piercing. Clean you're piercing a minimum of twice a day. IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
It is important to loosen and tighten the screws of your piercing at least twice a week to avoid it getting loose or getting stuck.
Avoid unnecessary touching of your new piercing, do not scrub or scratch it, wear clean/soft clothing
DO NOT cover the piercing with anything but your own clothing; you need to let your piercing breathe
DO NOT pick at the scabs if present
DO NOT wash the piercing with a washcloth.
DO NOT expose the piercing to very hot water.
DO NOT overexpose the piercing to sunlight.
DO NOT submerge piercing in water, saltwater, pools, hot tubs, saunas, and steam for a minimum of 60 days.
DO NOT shave over the piercing for a minimum of 30 days.
DO NOT use any products on the piercing that contains Petroleum or Isopropyl Alcohol.
DO NOT use sunblock until the piercing is fully healed.
Healing time varies from client to client during the healing period. Also, healing may vary depending on the piercing you got done.
(Never put Antibiotic Cream or Ointment on a piercing)
After the piercing is completely healed you may use the RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE twice a week to keep your piercing clean and avoid any unnecessary infections.
